Our Procedures:
|
| 1) |
When we first visit a site we carry out a survey which lists
all the relevant information from our client’s representative
right down to which toilets we can use. This is to ensure
the smooth running of a contract with everyone knowing what
they
are doing and their various responsibilities.
|
| 2) |
When arriving on site all operatives report to the site
manager for H&S induction.
|
| 3) |
We always insist on being provided with A3 drawings from
site. These are used to indicated what work is undertaken and
where. A copy of these drawings are included in the operation
and maintenance manuals.
|
| 4) |
All fire stops are labelled with our company name and
contact No, name of installer, name of checker and date. These
labels are not applied until the fire stops are complete and
have been checked.
|
| 5) |
Intumescent paint
is applied in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions. Our operatives have humidity and temperature
gauges to ensure conditions are right for application.
|
| 6) |
Wet film thickness checks are carried out during application
of intumescent paint and dry film checks upon completion. Our
operatives have electronic dry film thickness meters.
|
| 7) |
Upon completion
of all work a certificate of conformity is issued to our client
stating materials employed and what
has been achieved. Certificate of Conformity
|
The above is the core of our procedures and can be tailored
to certain contracts which have more specific requirements relating
to quality.
